Terms of service
CentsPerServing ("we", "us") turns recipes into priced grocery baskets. By using centsperserving.com you agree to these terms.
Prices are estimates
Prices come from grocery store APIs at the moment you price a recipe. Stores change prices, run out of items, and vary by location, so your total at checkout can differ. Items we are less sure about are flagged ("check this" or "substitute") - review your cart before you pay. CentsPerServing is a planning tool, not a price guarantee.
Your use
- The service is for personal, non-commercial grocery planning.
- When you submit a recipe URL or pasted text, you confirm you have the right to use that content for your own planning. We price ingredients; we do not republish third-party recipe content. Recipe cards in our weekly plans link back to their source (or to public-domain USDA recipes, credited where adapted).
- Do not scrape, overload, resell, or attempt to break the service.
- Free usage is rate limited per day; limits may change.
Kroger connection
Connecting your Kroger account authorizes us to add items to your Kroger cart when you click the cart button - nothing else. You are responsible for reviewing the cart inside Kroger's own site or app before purchasing. CentsPerServing is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Kroger Co.; all store names and trademarks belong to their owners.
Accounts and paid plans
- Keep access to your sign-in email; magic links act as your password.
- If we offer a paid plan, it is billed through Stripe on the website, renews until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time from your account page, effective at the end of the paid period.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (zero for free users).
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Questions: hello@centsperserving.com.
